JACKSONVILLE – What would a visit to one of the nation’s largest railroad companies be without a chance to get on the floor and play with a model train set? Students from the Oakleaf High chapter of Future Farmers of America, shown here, got up around 5 a.m. Feb.

20 and travelled to one of the Jacksonville offices of CSX to take part in an event called "CSX Connect." It was part of 2013 National FFA Week, which ran from Feb.

16-23. Oakleaf students, who passed out pamphlets and other information explaining how CSX employees can help the Oakleaf chapter flourish and grow, greeted employees of CSX, which sponsors FFA on a national level. Students were also treated to a training session on how the railroad works and what goes into scheduling and running trains.
