Students turnout for Advanced Placement

OAKLEAF – Senior Iman Amaya, left, will attend The University of Florida after graduating from Oakleaf High this spring. Amaya will have successfully finished 11 Advanced Placement courses including AP Psychology with teacher Jillian Waller. Students have a choice of 20 AP classes and can enter the program in 9th grade. If passed, each rigorous class can save the student $480 per college credit hour. Amaya said it was incredibly worth the work after receiving several acceptance letters. Students must sign a contract to commit one extra hour per day studying
