Stephanie Brooke “Speediii” Robinson, 22, of Fleming Island, FL passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

Stephanie was born in Amelia Island, FL and grew up in the Clay County area. She was an employee for Gilmore Johnson Wholesale Flooring in Jacksonville for the past 4 years. She was a talented motorcycle rider and driver who loved family and friends but was also known to play with snakes, other animals and guns.

Speediii was passionate about cars and motorcycles and was a member of Juiced Mopar and One Love One Family (Lady Riders).

Stephanie is survived by her mother, Lynn (Paul) Norman, father, Clay Robinson, sister, Britani Robinson, “little brother”, Kaiden Chapman, grandparents, Jesse and Ruby Schneider, Robert and Susan Robinson, and Phillip and Roselyn Norman, uncle, Randy (Sheri) Schneider, and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services were held Sunday, May 15, 2016 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest Funeral Home with Pastor Rusty Williams officiating. Frank R. “Scooter” Tucker

Frank R. “Scooter” Tucker, 37, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away May 7, 2016. He was born on November 4, 1978 in Houston, TX to parents Frank Faron Tucker and Faith Renee (Fountain) Nicometo.

Frank loved his children, the beach, fireworks and sports.

He is preceded in death by his father and survived by his mother, Faith Nicometo; wife, Shelly Strickland; sons, Preston Riley and Nolan Zachary; daughters, Kaydence Allyse, Franki Denise and Sierra Nicole; brother, John G. Tucker; sister, Kristin A. Tucker and mother of two of his daughters, Sandi Denise Powell.

Gerald A. “Jerry” Payton

Gerald A. “Jerry” Payton, age 63, of Keystone Heights passed away at his home, Sunday, May 15, 2016 following a battle with cancer. He was born in Palatka on December 15, 1952.

After twenty years of service in the United States Army, Jerry retired as Sergeant First Class being in charge of Telecommunications. Following his retirement with the United States Army, Jerry started a new career with El Pasco County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado Springs until he retired a second time.

His third and final retirement was on March 1, 2015 running the 911 communications for the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. Jerry was of the Baptist faith and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Alan Payton, his father, John D Payton, and a brother, Lamar Payton. Survivors are his mother, Mildred (Wimberly) Downs, and three sisters, Helen Hersey (Dewitt) and Lavon Sweeney (Rick) all of Keystone Heights and Sonya Taylor (Ed) of Okeechobee. Also left behind are two grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Jerry were held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jason Stephens officiating. Michael (Mike) S. Schultz

Michael (Mike) S. Schultz, 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2016, after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Fort Sill Oklahoma, on May 11, 1953, the oldest of four boys, to George and Mary Schultz. Mike married his high school sweetheart, Kathy, in 1975, and began their married life in Wyoming, where they had two sons. Mike “Dagwood” as he was known to his friends and family, served as a professional pilot for 24 years with the United States Custom Service before retiring in 2010 in Montana as the Director of Operations of the Montana Air Branch.

In 2010, they relocated to their retirement home located in Sunlight Basin, Cody, Wyoming where he embraced his passion of the outdoors. Here he enjoyed his lifelong loves of fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, and cooking. During his retirement years his” bucket list” was fulfilled through their travels throughout the United States. He sustained many friendships, where even in his last months, he shared his stories of adventures, reminisced about fond memories, and enjoyed hours of family fun. Mike’s legacy is a devoted family who will miss him deeply.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his two sons, Jeff and Jason and their wives, Taryn and Macey; his six grandchildren Madison, Triston, Ayden, Piper, Landon, Christian; his father George; his stepmother Joan; his three brothers Marc, Matt, and Jon; and his many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, located at 2725 S. Hwy. 17, Crescent City, Florida on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Schultz family home.
