Terry “Lil Terry” Jeffers, Jr.

Terry “Lil Terry” Jeffers, Jr., 49, of Middleburg, FL, passed away July 15, 2016. He was born on January 15, 1967 in Jacksonville, Florida to parents Terry O. Jeffers, Sr. and Sherry Masche Craft.

Terry was a lifelong resident of Middleburg and of the Christian faith. He loved his children above all else in this world. Terry was a loving and talented man that gave without expectations. He was always there for a friend in need. Terry was an avid camper, hunter and sportsman, playing on almost every softball team in NE Florida. He was as a hard worker who loved live music of all varieties. Terry is a beloved father, son, brother and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Tonya Jeffers. Terry is survived by his mother, Sherry Masche Craft; step-mother, Nita Jeffers; son, Terry “TJ” Jeffers, III; daughter, Kaylea Jeffers; brothers, Jamie Jeffers (Heather) and Andrew Jeffers (Katie); sisters, Stephanie Padgett, Lynne Cofield (John), Erin Jeffers and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Charlie Hunt officiating, followed by visitation until 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Terry’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2:00pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1932 Long Bay Road, Middleburg, FL 32068.

George Thomas Monroe Coombes

George Thomas Monroe Coombes passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, after a brief illness, at the age of 90.

Born in Duluth, Minnesota, he called Virginia Beach and Florida home. He was an avid runner and athlete. A Navy veteran and salty Chief, he was a proud American, who served his country with honor during WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

Memorial Services scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Altmeyer Funeral Chapel, Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach, VA. A social reception will follow.
