Monaghan graduates from Notre Dame
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Hunter Monaghan, a 2012 graduate of Ridgeview High School’s International Baccalaureate program, recently was graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he received four years of academic scholarships.
He earned a degree in economics and history and is spending the summer backpacking through Europe. He accepted an offer from a global consulting firm in New York City and will begin working upon his return.
USC Upstate recognizes graduates
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The University of South Carolina Upstate recognized its May graduates during commencement exercises held May 3 on the Quad behind the John C. Stockwell Administration Building. Among the graduates were two Clay County students – Maddison Kieffer of Middleburg and Caleb Tierney of Orange Park.

Stamets graduates from Hofstra University
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – A Clay County student was among about 2,100 students who earned their undergraduate, graduate or law degrees from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York during ceremonies on May 15-16 at the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex.
Margaret Stamets of Green Cove Springs, completed all of the requirements to graduate with a bachelor of arts in journalism.
