CLAY SAFETYNET ALLIANCE: Sen. CONTROLLED BURNING OUR FORESTS: Is the topic of the April 19 meeting of the Historical Society of Penney Farms. Allan Hallman from the Florida Forest Service will discuss this practice and the benefits of controlled burning. The program will be held at Penney Farms Town Hall, 4100 Clark Ave. at 7 p.m. Free and open to the public. Free parking.
STUDENT ART SHOW: At the Orange Park Mall, April 20-22 during normal mall hours. Elementary artwork will be exhibited in front of Belk and Books-a-Million. Junior high and high school artwork will be exhibited by JC Penney. Come out and celebrate art in Clay County Public Schools.
