WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA: Keystone Heights City Cemetery, State Road 100, Dec. 15 at Noon. Families will lay wreaths on gravesites of beloved family members who served in America’s Armed Forces as a reminder they are thinking of them during the holidays.
WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA: Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Dec. 15. Begins at 11:40 a.m. with procession of more than 1,000 wreaths from St. Catherine’s Catholic Church to the cemetery via law enforcement and Harley riders. Noon moment of silence in observance of veterans.
CHRISTMAS PARADE: Middleburg, from Long Bay Boulevard and County Road 220 on Blanding Boulevard, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Clay County Business Association. Come see lighted floats, vehicles, local clubs and organizations and Santa Claus.
LONGEST NIGHT SERVICE: Dec. 21 at 7 p.m., Advent Lutheran Church, 2156 Loch Rane Blvd., Orange Park. Begins at 6 p.m. with a soup and sandwich meal by the Stephen Ministry. This is a powerful and moving service that will touch your heart. Invite family, friends, and neighbors, anyone you know who might be struggling to find joy in this holy season.
