County is inviting community input for Parks and Recreation Master Plan

Posted

CLAY COUNTY – The county wants to invite the community to chime in on the Clay County Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which centers on future improvements for our parks and recreation facilities, programs, and services. The county is launching a survey to better understand residents’ needs and we feedback, which will be used to guide the upcoming decisions.

The county has mailed a survey invite to a random sampling of 5,000 households, and the public can also access this survey link online: Clay County Parks and Recreation Master Plan Survey

If residents received a paper survey in the mail, the county encourages them to provide feedback within 10 days. All residents can provide feedback and input using the online survey link, which will be available online until mid-April.

The survey will ask residents questions about the types of improvements they want to see, and the changes most important to them. Its results will help the county grow responsibly as we prioritize the places for improvement and areas of focus for recreational opportunities.

This project is led by GAI with survey and data work done by RRC Associates.
