(Curtis) James Furman, aka “TOAST” went to Glory on May 31, 2023, while visiting family in St. Petersburg, FL. James is survived by Betty (Mom), Richard (Brother), Jennifer (Sister), Diane (Wife), James (Son), Thomas, Nevaeh, RaeLynne, Wynter (Grandchildren) and many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. James was a Commercial Fisherman and Crabber in Trout River for many years before moving to Clay to be close to his Mom. But he was always drawn to the water. He was everyone’s friend and the life of the party, with a forever-young enthusiasm. He will be missed. We will be having a Celebration of Life memorial and Lunch in honor of James on July 30, 10 am-12 pm at Spring Park Pavilion in Green Cove Springs. Everyone is Welcome.
