Maybe you noticed. The name of this column is FAITH WALK. That is exactly what our daily walk with the Lord requires: Faith.
Paul said, “We live by believing, not by seeing” and “The righteous shall live by faith.” (2 Cor. 5:7 NLT & Gal. 3:11 ESV)
It is evident that the Apostle Paul said we cannot live the committed Christian life guided by the standard of human reason. We can only live the Christian life by faith!
That means in all things we trust Him regardless of what human reason and logic may declare. We know (by faith) that He is leading us, whatever the visible circumstances may be.
Even in the midst of our greatest hardship and suffering, we stand in our conviction – firm in faith – that God is in control. Nothing can overcome us if we keep our faith in our faithful Lord!
There will be trials of our faith. We are not to be surprised by “fiery trials.” The tests will come. But the Apostle Peter says we are to rejoice when those tests fall on us. (1 Peter 4:13)
God’s word is stalwart in declaring His faithfulness to us regardless of the hardship or difficulty we may face. The really important thing for us to know is that He is with us whatever the test or trial may be!
When you go through deep waters,
I will be with you.
When you go through rivers of difficulty,
you will not drown.
When you walk through the fire of oppression,
you will not be burned up;
the flames will not consume you.
~Isaiah 43:2 NLT
No matter what you are going through, our Lord says, “I will go through it with you.” By faith, we know it is true!
