John Ronald Zuback

John Ronald Zuback, better known as "Ron" passed away on Feb. 2 2024 at the age of 85. He resided in Middleburg, Florida along with his wife Barbara. Ron attended Connellsville High School in Pennsylvania and graduated in 1956. After graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served proudly.  Later, his finance career took him and his family to Chattanooga, TN where he was employed by Associates Finance and Ryder Commercial Truck Finance where he excelled and became a vice president of both companies until he retired. Ron is preceded in death by his father John Zuback and mother Rose Zuback. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 45 years, his former wife Barbara Hall Zuback and his 3 children Tania Zuback, Jack Zuback and Lisa (Darrell) Wright, his grandchildren, Tony Zuback, Kayla (Andrew) Barrera, Alexandria Zuback and Matthew Wright. Also surviving are his siblings, Darlene Zuback Peta, Carol Zuback Alexander, Tony Zuback and Joe Zuback, and many nieces and nephews. Ron loved to fish, golf, shoot pool and was always on the go. He had a great sense of humor and would captivate anyone he met.  Ron was a devout Catholic and a member of St Luke's church in Middleburg Florida. He was a long-standing member of the Connellsville Elks Lodge, Slovak Club, American Legion, and the VFW. Ron was one of a kind, loved his family, faith, and country. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A private service will be held at a later date.
