Kay Marguerite Alvarez

Kay Marguerite Alvarez age 78 of Keystone Heights began her blessed journey on February 20, 2024. She was born on May 11, 1945 in Jacksonville to the late Clyde Raymond Alvarez and Daisy Farmer (Creech) Alvarez. Kay relocated from Jacksonville to Keystone Heights in 1998 readying herself for retirement which she accomplished in 2002 after 37.3 years of dedicated service with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). She kept busy with weekly card games, the Women’s Club, new projects she found to do on her computer, scanning everything and preserving old photos. Kay enjoyed being the family historian. She truly loved her family and friends. She was always there to lend a hand with support. Kay will be greatly missed by those who loved her for being herself. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde Raymond Alvarez Jr., and Oscar Wayne Alvarez. Survivors are, siblings, Daniel Alvarez (Earlene), Dorothy Joyce Alvarez and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
