Orange Park High's team was recently hit with flu for the past month and a hard-running University Christian team, ranked eighth in Class 2A, did not slow down for the ailing Lady Raiders en route to a steal and deal 55-30 win Saturday afternoon at Orange Park High's Martin Luther King, Jr., Day invitational's final game. Pictured are (1) Orange Park guard Autumn Nesmith about to launch a three-pointer in front of UC coach Keith Stroud; (2) Orange Park guard Mariah Young goes baseline drive for points; (3) center Mychaela Parker has improved her paint game to 14 points per game with her power underneath; and (4) Orange Park guard Piera Alexander has been the leader of Raiders attack, here in traffic against University Christian.
