ORANGE PARK – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said it’s investigating another disturbance near the AMC Movie Theatre parking lot at the Orange Park Mall after a man said he was shot during a disturbance involving a group of juveniles on March 9.
The agency said off-duty deputies were disbursing and trespassing a group of teens from the property when they moved to the parking. Deputies said they heard a series of gunshots, and a man approached them and said he had been shot in the arm.
He was taken to HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“We have zero tolerance for violence in Clay County,” said Sheriff Michelle Cook. “Those responsible for last night will be pursued and punished.”
