Clay residents complete
U.S. Air Force training

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Two residents from Clay County recently completed basic training with the U.S. Air Force at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The trainees completed an intensive, eight-week program that included education in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
The graduates are:
Airman Ian J. Lovett, son of John L. Lovett and Denise L. Alexander of Middleburg, is a 2014 graduate of Middleburg High School.

U.S. Air Force National Guard Airman Jessica A. Grimaldo, daughter of Ana N. Grimaldo of Keystone Heights, is a 2015 graduate of Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High School and a 2016 graduate of Santa Fe College in Gainesville where she earned an associate degree.
