David Michael Divinagracia
Mr. David Michael Divinagracia, 59 of Middleburg, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018. Mr. Divinagracia was born February 20, 1959 in San Francisco, California to parents Marcelo O. and Patricia (Logan) Divinagracia. He served in the United States Army and was employed as a carpenter. David resided all over the country but lived in Clay County for many years and considered Middleburg home. He was very caring and helped anyone, especially a lot of troubled children in his neighborhood, and loved his children and grandchildren. David always had something funny to say and a story to tell. His passions were woodworking and martial arts and he loved cooking Filipino cuisines. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Robert Divinagracia. Survivors are his wife of 17 years, Kathy Warfle of Middleburg, children, Anthony Horhan (Holly) of St. Augustine, Rhiannon Cribbs of Gainesville, Alora Luipa, Deanna Lupia, Jasmine Lupia, and Johnthon Lupia, sisters, Kathleen Barnett (Bobby) of Middleburg, Colleen Bernie (Michael David) of South Dakota, Tina D. Cabrera of San Marco, Texas, and Carolyn Abbud of Missouri. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Evelyn Horhan, Jaydon Calton, Christopher Hurley, Wyatt Bradley, Abel Hall, Allison Hall, Renesnee Lupia, and Malakai Lupia, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family in California, as well as many people who loved him. The family will hold private services at a later date. Terry Morton Russell

Terry Morton Russell, 54, of Green Cove Springs, Fla. passed away on Oct. 2, 2018 in Orange Park, Fla. He was born on February 28, 1964 in Lawton, Oklahoma to parents, Mary Christine Podbevsek and the late Morton Joseph Russell. Terry graduated from Spring Valley High School class of 1983, served his country in the United States Navy (HT3) and was an active member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks of the United States of America and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Green Cove Springs, FL.
Terry is survived by his mother, Mary Christine Podbevsek; siblings, Carl (April) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jean of Green Cove Springs, FL and Joe (Laura) of Green Cove Springs, FL; children, Terry (Lindsay), Jeff (April) and Joshua; grandchildren, Paisley, Polly, Benjamin and Grayson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at the Green Cove Springs Elks Lodge.
At the family’s request donations can be made in Terry’s name to Haven Hospice for their compassionate treatment of Terry and his family leading up to his passing.

Roger Eugene Hendl
Mr. Roger Eugene Hendl age 55, of Green Cove Springs passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Middleburg following an extended illness. Roger was born Oct. 9, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Eugene “Gene” and Carole (Franklin) Hendl and had graduated with the class of 1980 from Clay High School. His passion for caring for others led him into a career of becoming an in-home care giver for many years. Roger enjoyed watching religious stations on television with his dad and reading. Since he was devoted to his job and always working he would get on the computer so he could stay in touch with many friends. In addition to his parents, Roger is also survived by his brothers and their wives Kenny (Karla) Hendl and Kurt (Betty) Hendl all of Middleburg along with his aunts and uncles Johnnie (Don) Walsh of Green Cove Springs and Peggy (Tommy) Haire of Quincy. He was also the best uncle to his nieces Gaby, Melonie and Kelsey; nephews Eric (Courtney) and Alan (Kaylee); great niece Rylee Kay “Bug” and great nephews Braylen and Little Kenny (K3). Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018 at Lake Asbury Baptist Church, 2674 Henley Road, Green Cove Springs, Fla., 32043 with Arlie Brashear officiating.
