Charles L. Rieks
Charles L. Rieks, 74, of Greeneville, TN and Orange Park, FL passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017. He was born July 6, 1942 in Warsaw, NY to the la
te Harvey and Edith Brower Rieks.
Mr. Rieks graduated from Pavilion Central School. He worked at Caledonia Bean Plant, Rochester Telephone Company and retired from Amtote International of Hunt Valley, MD.
He worked in Buffalo, Batavia and Canandaigua before transferring to Jacksonville/Orange Park, FL.
Charles was a life member of Pavilion Fire Department and was instrumental in helping to establish the Pavilion Rescue Squad.
He was also an American Legion member.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served from 1961-1967.
Mr. Rieks is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy (Smith) Rieks of Greeneville, TN; son Daniel (Lisa) Rieks of Batavia, NY; daughters, Roseann (Doug) Harris of Greeneville, TN, and Kelly (Daniel) Cordell of Stafford, NY; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Cotton of Greenville, TX; sisters-in-law, Lorraine (J.E.) Rieks of Silver Spring, MD, Judy (Nick) Cecci of Corning, NY and Patricia (Robert) Murphy of Wyoming, NY; brother-in-law, Gary Phillips of Attica, NY, step-brothers, Robert and Donald Hammond of Rochester, NY; many nieces and nephews; and a very special family friend, Brad Skwirsk.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Edgar (Ed) Rieks. Services will be held at a later date at East Bethany Rural Cemetery in East Bethany, NY.

Catherine Holcomb Sweatland Gibson Graham
Catherine Holcomb Sweatland Gibson Graham, 93, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017. She was born in Granby, CT on July 21, 1923, to Chester and Rebecca (Phelps) Holcomb.
She later married Robert (Sonny) Sweatland, Sr. and together they had six sons before his death in 1960. In 1964 she married Howard Gibson II, and moved to Virginia Beach, VA. They had one more son. She was widowed twice and for over 35 years she has resided in Florida.
She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Carlton and Drayton Holcomb and one sister, Edith Gibson, and is survived by one brother, George (Grace) Holcomb of Forth Worth, TX.
A homemaker most of her life, she always made visitors welcome in her home. Catherine spent her final years and last days with many visits from her loving family.
She leaves seven sons, Chester Daniel (Danny) Sweatland (Gale) of Vero Beach, FL; Andrew Wayne Sweatland (Carol) of Vero Beach, FL; Robert (Bob) Sweatland, Jr (Rose) of Green Cove Springs, FL; Gordon (Gordy) Sweatland (Nancy) of Green Cove Springs, FL; Dale Sweatland (Home) of Greenacres, FL; Terry Sweatland of Hertford, NC; and Howard (Howie) Gibson III of Green Cove Springs, FL. She has over 50 Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren and loved them all dearly. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews and a special friend, James (Jim) Graham of Naples, FL. Catherine was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, FL.
She left her body to UF for study and the family will have a private memorial at a later date, as was her request. Special thanks to the staff at Haven Hospice, 745 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL 32065, who provided loving care during her final days, and memorial may be made to them.

Albrey Lavern Felder, Sr. was born on October 26, 1969 to Marie Preston and the late Jimmie Felder.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Audrey Felder; children, Maurtice, Albrey Jr (Erica), Travis and Telesha; granddaughter, Danyelle Felder; brothers, Dondrell (Marilyn) and Oscar (Carolyn) Felder; sisters, Terree, Tiffany and Shayron Felder; father and mother-in-law, Bishop A.L. Jones, Sr. and Evangelist Murria M. Jones.
