GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Clay County Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce a beautiful three-bedroom, two-bathroom finished house located on Ruby Avenue.
Ashley HomeStore has partnered with the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation for several years to provide children’s beds for Habitat families. In 2020, Ashley HomeStore decided to sponsor their first Clay County Habitat for Humanity home. Ashley HomeStore has now sponsored two homes and employees from all areas of the company have volunteered during the construction of those homes. Their employees assisted in installing siding, window trim, soffits around the home and other assignments.
Meaghan, the future homeowner, is looking forward to having a place to call home for herself and her three daughters. With the support from Ashley HomeStore, Meaghan is able to give her daughters the support of a solid foundation they can call home.
“It has been a pleasure working with Habitat and to fulfill our company purpose, “to inspire the love of home and enrich the lives of those around us. Our team appreciates the opportunity to help give back to the communities that have been so supportive of our company, Ashley HomeStores. We can now say we have built our second home which we hope will be one of many Habitat homes,” said Greg King, Vice President of Sales for Ashley HomeStores.
“Our partnership with Ashley HomeStore has provided incredible support for many Clay County Habitat families over the years. The sponsorship of an entire home takes their level of commitment to families and affordable housing to an even higher level,” said Carolyn Edwards, Clay County Habitat’s Executive Director.
