Final week: Fleming Island ended an 11-game win streak with a nine inning 1-0 loss to Bartram Trail coming after a 10-0 loss to Creekside on April 2 followed by wins over Nease (for SJRAC title), St. Augustine, Oakleaf, Bishop Kenny and Stanton.
Oakleaf’s biggest win was a 12-5 socking of Fletcher on April 9 followed by four wins in a row; St. Johns Country Day School, Flagler, First Coast and Ridgeview.

2018: Fleming Island beat Atlantic Coast 2-1 in district final. Fleming Island beat Lincoln 3-1, Chiles 7-3 and lost to Strawberry Crest 2-0 in region final. Strawberry Crest lost 5-2 to Sarasota in state semifinal.

Final week: The Broncos powered through three wins in a row to end their season with an 8-1 over Matanzas, a 3-2 thriller over Ridgeview and a 6-4 win over Bradford. Broncos split two district games with Columbia in April and lost two to Gainesville in March.

2018: Columbia beat Gainesville in district final 5-3. Columbia lost to Creekside, Gainesville lost to St. Augustine in region quarterfinals.

In a topsy turvy swing of games in the final week, Clay had the final say in the district seed lineup, but failed to extinguish a game Ridgeview team in the penultimate week, then lost one to Ponte Vedra to give the Sharks the top see.
Ridgeview knocked off 4A-Trinity Christian last week after three straight losses; St. Johns, Oakleaf and Middleburg.

2018: Clay lost 6-4 to Ponte Vedra in district final; Clay beat Stanton 5-2, Ponte Vedra 4-2, Mosley 2-0 to Final Four, Lost 7-2 to Tampa Jefferson. Jefferson won 6-5 for 6A title over Merritt Island.

Final week: Indians crunched out a 4-2 win over 6A-Clay to put some momentum into their season end. Indians have two losses each to both Santa Fe and Newberry.

2018: Santa Fe beat Newberry 15-1 for district title. Santa Fe lost in region final to Nature Coast 12-3

Final week: Spartan coach Tom Lucas is squeezing as much play out of his troops with a four game win streak; Ridgeview, University Christian (for district top seed), Westside in a hit-fest and Bishop Kenny on May 2. Look for Spartans to make round two in regions with North Florida Christian the target.

2018: University Christian beat SJCDS 5-0 in district final; SJCDS lost 14-4 to North Florida Christian in region quarterfinals. NFC lost 6-1 to Canterbury in 3A final.
