“Whereas ever-expanding partnerships built among the archive specialist and staff from the Clay County School District, the Clay County Preservation Board, the Clay County Tourism Office, historic society leaders, veterans groups, authors, researchers and historical performers for brining county history to life for young and old,” BCC Chairman Mike Cella said. “And whereas the Clay County Historic Triangle in Green Cove Springs...make this treeline sight the perfect location for Clay County citizens and visitors to celebrate Clay County history in combination with the other events occurring during this month. And now therefore let it be resolved that the [BCC]...recognize the month of May 2019 as Clay County History Month.”
The Celebrate Clay County History Festival this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Clay County Historic Triangle.
