In the two district games against Vanguard, 6-5 and 8-7, the Broncos broke a 5-4 lead to put the second game in extra innings behind a walk to Faucett and a passed ball to tie the game before Padgett walked in the top of the eighth, got to second on a sacrifice bunt from Collin Henderson before a pass ball to Luke Padgett scored the winner.
