Ripple Effect Martial Arts opens on Fleming Island
FLEMING ISLAND – A new martial arts school, with classes for kids, adults and families, now is open. The school, Ripple Effect Martial Arts - Fleming Island, is located at 1851 Golden Eagle Way, Unit 44, and is already recruiting students.
Master Rachael Macy, a fourth-degree black belt in the traditional Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do, co-founded the school and will serve as Master Instructor.
Master Macy has served the community as an instructor at Middleburg Martial Arts, and Ripple Effect Martial Arts aims to expand the school’s self-defense, character-development and life-skills curriculum to the broader community of northeast Florida.
“For 20 years, Middleburg Martial Arts has been positively impacting the lives of kids and families, with a safe environment for students of all ages to learn, grow and thrive together,” Macy said. “Our new martial arts school, Ripple Effect Martial Arts, brings that nurturing environment to Fleming Island.”
Following from its origins in Middleburg Martial Arts, Ripple Effect Martial Arts teaches self-defense and the traditions of Tang Soo Do along with life skills and leadership development.
