Island Dentistry want to help McRae Elementary get off to a good start

FLEMING ISLAND – McRae Elementary in Keystone Heights is a Title I school and has an A- rating. Due to their location, they are “out of sight, out of mind,” which means they don’t get the help they so desperately need.
Island Dentistry decided to come to their aid with the help of their doctors, staff, patients and the community. Dr. Douglas Scales, owner of Island Dentistry, does a great deal of outreach in the community and felt they needed to help McRae get a good start to the new school year. Tammy Winkler, principal at McRae Elementary School, is so excited that Island Dentistry wants to offer their assistance.
From now until Aug. 15, please drop off any of the following items: school supplies, gently used clothes, new underwear, non-perishable food, toiletries, socks, shoes, jackets and new reading books to Island Dentistry, at 4689 U.S. Highway 17, Suite 6, on Fleming Island (behind the Dunkin Donuts).
For more information, call Susan Soltys at (904) 278-7567.
