Old Time Style Ice Cream Parlor opens in Argyle Forest
ARGYLE – Family-owned Old Time Style Ice Cream Parlor opened its doors and offered old-fashioned churned and homestyle hand-scooped ice cream on 6625 Argyle Forest Blvd.
The shop serves Hershey’s Ice Cream, which is also Family owned since 1894. They use real ingredients, real ice cream for real smiles. They carry 32 flavors and several are dairy free, vegan, no sugar added, lactose-free and gluten-free. They also have doggie ice cream for pets.
The parlor serves cups, cones, sundaes, banana splits, shakes and swirlers. They have about 35 toppings to choose from. You can choose any flavor ice cream to create your masterpiece. They even have our specialty shakes, or you can create your own ice cream sandwich choose a cookie and flavor ice cream you want.
The shop has a coffee section where they offer their own blend of coffee that is roasted locally for frappes, ice coffee and specialty shakes. They have five frappe flavors plus seasonal flavors. For ice coffee,they can create eight to 10 different and unique flavors, plus the traditional mocha, vanilla, caramel and hazelnut.
The parlor is open Monday-Thursday from 1-9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.; and, on Sunday fro, 1-8 p.m.
