OAKLEAF – Investigators with the Clay County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit, alongside its partners at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, concluded a three-month-long investigation regarding several sex crimes believed to have been committed by Jeremiah Paul Grover.
Grover worked as a Worship Leader for Elevate Life Church in Oakleaf Plantation and has been arrested on several charges.
Detectives launched an investigation in early June regarding reported criminal sexual activity that happened between March and June. Grover was accused of being involved with a 16-year-old juvenile, who was also a member of the suspect's church. Grover, 32, of Jacksonville, traveled and met with the minor in both Clay and Duval counties and engaged in sexual criminal conduct.
Grover has been arrested for unlawful sexual activity with a minor, traveling to meet a minor, lewd and lascivious touching, transmission of harmful material to minors and using his cellphone to facilitate a felony. His bond is set at $325,015.
