WASHINGTON, D.C. – Clay County Economic Development Corporation a Bronze Award for its Website Redesign, a project in the category of General Purpose Website of the International Economic Development Council.
The honor was presented at an awards ceremony last week during the IEDC Annual Conference.
Clay EDC is constantly striving to raise the bar and create marketing materials that will aptly showcase our remarkable community to the world. The organization works diligently to keep up with industry trends and a rapidly changing market. Clay EDC wishes to thank the Investor Partners who provide the resources for Clay EDC to market Clay County as a great place to do business. The group is working together to have a direct impact on job creation for our community.
IEDC's Excellence in Economic Development Awards recognize the world's best economic development programs and partnerships, marketing materials and the year's most influential leaders. Thirty-five award categories honor organizations and individuals for their efforts in creating positive change in urban, suburban and rural communities.
Awards are judged by a diverse panel of economic and community developers from around the world, following a nomination process held earlier this year. IEDC received more than 500 submissions from four countries.
Website was redesigned for ease of use, visual appeal and to co-brand with our regional partnership and county government for continuity.
“The winners of IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development awards represent the very best of economic development and exemplify the ingenuity, integrity, and leadership that our profession strives for each and every day,” said IEDC Board Chair and One Columbus CEO Kenny McDonald. “We’re honored to recognize the more than 100 communities whose marketing campaigns, projects and partnerships have measurably improved regional quality of life.”
