Eight Clay students graduate from Western Governors

SALT LAKE CITY – Eight local students recently graduated from Western Governors University.
Tammy Daniel and Lindsy Schorck, both of Fleming Island, earned their Bachelor of Science degrees in nursing; Tiffany Wagner of Fleming Island got her Masters in Business Administration; Fleming Island’s Christie Walling earned her Masters in Healthcare Management; while Maureen Brown, Laurent Harting, Amber Johnson and Rachel Pontarolo, all of Middleburg, each graduated with Bachelors in nursing.
WGU has recognized 5,750 undergraduate and 4,488 graduate degree recipients, who have completed their degrees since June 24, 2019. Their areas of study include business, K-12 education, information technology, and health professions, including nursing. The average time to graduation for those earning a bachelor's degree was two years, three months, while the average time to degree for graduate programs was 1 year, 7 months. The average age for those who graduated is 38 years old.
