GREEN COVE SPRINGS – The Division of Emergency Management and Florida Department of Health in Clay County Unified Command confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 in Clay County on Tuesday.

There now have been 10 cases of the novel coronavirus in the county. Two have died.

Two were diagnosed last Saturday; one on Sunday and Monday and two on Tuesday.

None of the new victims were identified, nor were their locations released, but the county said the four consisted of six men and four women. Two are dead, three are self-quarantined and the other five are in hospitals.

The Florida Department of Health has launched a new COVID-19 Case Dashboard (https://fdoh.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/8d0de33f260d444c852a615dc7837c86). To keep Florida residents and visitors safe, informed and aware of the virus will be updated twice daily.

The Emergency Operations Center has activated a call center to answer questions from the public. Clay County residents can call (877) 252-9362 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The State of Florida Department of Health 24-hour call center is available at (866) 779-6121.
