Although video games have become more exotic and creative, the biggest-selling games of all time have simple graphics and relatively modest system requirements to appeal to a wide audience. Created in 1985, Tetris is the most ported puzzle game, with more than 450 free downloads and 70 million paid downloads. Released in 2011, Minecraft is especially popular with children, teens, and women. With 300 million in sales, it’s second on the list, followed by 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V, which is third with 200 million in sales. Wii Sports is fourth (82.9 million sold), followed by PUBG: Battlegrounds (75 million) is fifth, Mario Kart 8/Deluxe (71.36 million) is sixth, Red Dead Redemption 2 (65 million) is seventh, Terraria (58.7 million) is eighth, Super Mario Bros. (58 million) is ninth and Overwatch, Human: Fall Flat and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (50 million) are tied for 10th.
