Caeleb Dressel swam the third fastest 100 free qualifying time in Tuesday's US Olympic Trials prelims with a 47.82 second time to advance to the Trials semifinals tomorrow. The top time was 47.08 with the second fastest 47.65. Sixteen swimmers advanced to the semifinals with eight selected for the finals and the finals winner selected for the US Olympic team heading to Paris in July. Dressel has a busy few days ahead of him with the 100 semi-finals and final, 50 prelims, semi-finals and final, 100 butterfly prelims, semi-finals and final upcoming. NBC will broadcast the 100 butterfly final from the Elevyn22 Church in Fleming Island on Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
