GREEN COVE SPRINGS – Supervisor of Elections Chris H. Chambless invites the public to attend the Logic and Accuracy Test for the 2022 Primary. It will be held this Friday, Aug. 5, at 9 a.m. at the Clay County Supervisor of Elections Office located at 500 N. Orange Ave.
Florida law requires election supervisors to perform logic and accuracy testing on the voting equipment before every election. During logic and accuracy, pre-filled test ballots are processed through the tabulation equipment that will be used for all three methods of voting: Voting by Mail, Early Voting and Election Day, to ensure votes are being accurately counted and recorded. Upon completion, the equipment will be sealed and kept under strict surveillance until being deployed for voting.
All Canvassing Board activities are open to the public. Voters are encouraged to attend to view an important part of the Florida elections process and learn #TrustedInfo2022.
