ORANGE PARK – Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking visual effects, the play is a fresh look at a timeless love story.

Eurydice is a play by Sarah Ruhl that explores themes of love, loss, memory, and the afterlife through a modern retelling of the classic Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. While the play contains elements of fantasy and magical realism, it also addresses sensitive topics such as death, grief, and existential questions about the nature of existence.

Shows are scheduled for Sept. 27-29 at the Thrasher-Horne’s Studio Theater. On Friday, Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 28 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available at the box office or at thcenter.org.
