CLAY COUNTY – While the COVID-19 pandemic will prevent Clay County from hosting its 48th annual Farm-City Luncheon, the most-vital element will survive – the food collection drive.

Organizers are asking residents to join their “Plan B,” a worthy alternative to the normally sold out luncheon. There certainly is a need throughout Clay County.

Donations of canned goods and other nonperishable food items will be accepted Monday, Nov. 16 through Monday, Nov. 23 at the following locations:

• Clay Today lobby. 3513 U.S. Highway 17, Fleming Island.

• Orange Park Medical Center lobby, 2001 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park.

• Gordon Chevrolet customer lounge, 1166 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park.

• Clay County Farm Bureau main lobby, 2000 Henley Road, Middleburg.

• Clay County UF/IFAS Extension Center, 2463 State Road 16 West, Green Cove Springs.

• Clay County Administration Building front lobby, 477 Houston St., Green Cove Springs.

• Clay County Courthouse main lobby, 825 North Orange Ave., Green Cove Springs.

• CenterState Bank drive-thru, 1440 Kingsley Ave., Orange Park.
