ORANGE PARK – This year’s Hogs For Dogs couldn’t have been more different than last year’s washout. Beautiful sunny skies blessed the day for a smooth and safe ride along the North Florida roadways that added $15,000 to the Humane Society’s coffers. The morning kicked off at Adamec on Wells Road with registration, Starbucks coffee and the sounds of DJ Frank Yournette. The first stop of the ride was breakfast at Dee’s Music Bar & Grill and then on to Howlin’ Wolf, Cheyenne Saloon, George’s Orangedale Package, and lastly, to Whitey’s Fish Camp for a delicious fish dinner, more music by DJ Cynthia Sabean and lots of awesome raffle prizes. Special guests included the Star Wars 501st Legion who used their Jedi mind tricks to entertain the crowd.
