Individual sealed bids for the Town of Orange Park Rehabilitation of Clarke Park Cottage Orange Park, Florida will be received by the Town Clerk, Town of Orange Park, 2042 Park Avenue, Orange Park, Florida until 10:00 a.m., local time, February 20, 2025.
Envelopes must be clearly marked with the project title, time, and date of bid opening. If mailed, bids must be addressed to the Town Clerk at the above address. Bids must be submitted in the format as outlined in the specifications.
The award of this bid will result in a six-month contract.
Bidding for this project includes the following tasks:
• Repair/restoration of roofing system, including chimney, flashing, and vents
• Repair/restoration of siding, including repainting and bonding
• Repair/restoration of foundation and structure
• Install of ADA ramp and sidewalk, including minimal security lighting
• Bathroom and kitchen repairs, including new sinks and a commode
• Cleaning of crawl space and installation of coverings/skirting
• Replacement of water heater
• Repair of interior flooring, including historically appropriate wood flooring restoration as needed
• Restoration of interior fixtures and hardware with historically appropriate replacements
• Painting and repair/replace1nent of nine (9) windows, including frames and trim
• Repair and repainting of interior walls, ceiling, and other decorative elements, including cove and base molding, trim work, fine carpentry around the outside of the cottage and the at the porch
• Repair of three (3) doors and adjust for ADA accessibility, including historically appropriate door replacements as needed
• Painting and signage installation for ADA parking spaces
• Grant administration
• Architectural/engineering services, including construction, engineering, and inspection (CEI) services
Bid documents will be made available by 2:00 p.m., January 16, 2025, by contacting Rachel Savidge, Town of Orange Park Public Works at rsavidge@townop.com. All plans and specifications are in digital format.
Bidders must submit documentation with the Bid, that they have constructed similar type work which was completed during the past five years with references.
Bid bonds are not required. All projects will be less than the threshold required pursuant to Section 255.05, Florida Statutes for Performance and Payment Bonds.
