Keystone SafetyNet connecting isolated residents with supplies
KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – The Keystone Heights SafetyNet Alliance distributed produce and milk to another 70 families on Saturday who are shut off from necessary needs by restrictions created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The alliance of faith, government and nonprofits asked residents to fill out self-identification cards to determine their needs. The group then worked with Lake Area Ministries and Elevate Young Adults, to collect enough food, milk and recipes for five meals.
“We are amazed at how leaders from every sector in our community are working together to make sure everyone is taken care,” the alliance said.
Keystone SafetyNet said other food distributions are planned. The group asked local residents to fill out a self-identification cards posted at https://docs.google.com/…/1FAIpQLSfOCOXYT8RcUPPqp1…/viewform. The alliance also said if you’ve already filled out a card and didn’t receive a response, please send them a message on their Facebook page – Keystone SafetyNet Alliance.
“If you filled out a form expressing other needs, we are working on gathering supplies...we’ll be with you shortly,” the group said.
