HOWEY IN THE HILLS - Keystone Heights High senior golfer Camille Jackson turned in two of her best rounds on her final two days of golf with a 20th place finish at the Class 1A golf championships at the Mission Inn Resort in Howie in the Hills on Tues., Nov. 3.“We finished 13th out of 16 teams with an opening round of 357 and an improved second round of 344,” said Keystone Heights High coach Billy Jackson. “We were one of just two public schools in the field.”
For Jackson, the opportunity to get her entire team to states for a second consecutive year was the goal as the Lady Indians; Candace Jackson, Sloane Siebert and M.J. They have had a great run together as a team at the best state championship in the USA for the last two years. Camille has three individual rounds here in the three prior years.”
