St. Johns Country Day School, now 7-4, turned a long Christmas road trip to Bradenton for the Chick-Fil-A Tournament and put together a three game win streak against three upper class opponents; 7A-George Jenkins, now 10-4, St. Johns wins 73-39; 4A-Bayshore, now 11-6, with St. Johns winning 72-38 and 3A.
The First Academy of Orlando, now 10-4, St. Johns winning 64-46. Against Jenkins, guard Taliah Scott hit for 33 with Mary Kate Kent adding 19. Against Bayshore, Scott got hot for 42 (five threes) with Kent adding another 21 (four threes). Against the First Academy, Scott rolled with 51 points with nine three pointers.
