ORANGE PARK – LifeSouth Community Blood Centers will have its signature red, white and blue bloodmobile at the HCA Orange Park Hospital parking lot Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a special blood drive to celebrate the fifth birthday of Eliyanah Brusoe — a special little girl who overcame life-threatening health complications when she arrived 12 weeks early in January 2020.
Eliyanah’s mother, Melissa, required more than 30 pints of blood during the birth. Eliyanah spent her first 49 days in Orange Park Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit. To celebrate Eliyanah’s birthday, Melissa is asking the community to give blood – a gift that will honor the nurses, doctors and blood donors who helped them both survive.
The hospital is located at 2001 Kingsley Ave.
