GREEN COVE SPRINGS- Norma Owens Elliott celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Magnolia Point Golf and Country Club. Her children hosted the party: Mike Elliott, Norlene Roberts and Sandy Grant. Born in 1925, Norma has witnessed significant changes during her life, growing up on a rural farm in eastern North Carolina. She was honored to have U.S. Rep. Aaron Bean there, who presented her with a congratulatory birthday letter from President Donald Trump. The celebration marked a century of life filled with family, friends, faith and community. Surrounded by her loved ones, Norma was recognized not only for reaching this remarkable milestone but also for the legacy of kindness and resilience she embodies each day. The family expressed gratitude to all who joined in making the day memorable and joyful.
