KEYSTONE HEIGHTS – A man suspected of setting a dumpster on fire, which then spread to a garbage truck, was arrested on July 24 and put under a $300,006 bond,
Kyle Matthew Gibbs, 27, of Melrose, was charged with first-degree arson and vandalism after the Bureau of Fire, Arson and Explosives determined a dumpster at Lake Area Ministries was set using a combustible material. The fire spread to an occupied garbage truck. The driver identified a suspect, who was spotted near the Walgreens on the corner of State Roads 21 and 100.
Gibbs was detained and later arrested. His bond was set at $300,006.
