Money Pages lends its services to helping local businesses

CLAY COUNTY – A magazine dedicated to helping people save money is now helping businesses save money too during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

There’s a good chance a Money Pages magazine has made it into your hands before. It’s a tool for customers who take coupon to extreme and generally anyone looking to take advantage of a good deal. It’s usually known for offering coupons and more to readers but now, the magazine is looking to save local businesses some money by providing businesses with a free online infrastructure.

“What we’re doing is taking technology that we’ve invested in and donating it to the local businesses in a time that will help them generate real-time revenue,” CEO and Money Pages President Alan Worley said. “We provide this technology that allows businesses to sell gift certificates and when people buy them, the money goes straight to the business.”

Worley said the businesses aren’t being charged and none of the revenue from gift cards goes to Money Pages. It’s a 100% donation of our resources and technology, he said.

Worley said the purpose of Money Pages is two-fold.

“One, we’re a local company that helps businesses tell their story to the community,” Worley said. “Secondly, we’re trying to help readers save money while helping businesses be able to make money and attract people to their establishments.”

It just made sense to do this during these times, Worley said of his company’s technological donation.

“We’re not charging anything,” Worley said. “In this case, we wanted to help businesses generate revenue and we’ll continue to do this until people are able to go back to their favorite businesses regularly.”

Worley said it was important for Money Pages to do this since Money Pages actually relies on a thriving business community in places like Clay County and Jacksonville.

“We rely on local businesses,” Worley said. “They’re why we’re in existence and we want to continue working with them so this was the least we could do.”

He said that on the other side of this pandemic, he wants to know that Money Pages did all it could to help its community remain strong. He also believes that First Coast businesses will rebound quickly because people will want to go out to businesses and spend money when they’re allowed out of their house again.

If you’re a business interested in taking advantage of this, or if you’re a business who’s online infrastructure wasn’t prepared for a pandemic like this, Worley said to visit bit.ly/MoneyPagesDealSubmission which can be found on the full website as well which is deals.moneypages.com. After filling out that form, Money Pages’ graphic designers will create visuals for your website and put the gift certificate infrastructure online.

Worley said businesses can expect their gift certificate revenue checks once a week alongside reports detailing everything.

“There really are no strings attached,” Worley said. “We love our community and want to do what we can to help out.”
