ORANGE PARK – A new salon suite recently opened and will act as a gateway for other successful businesses in the area.

My Salon Suite of Orange Park had its grand opening last Tuesday at 1801 Wells Road and it’s hoping to bring a new twist to the salon sector of business. It’s not just a single salon but rather, a suite of salons that business owners can rent spaces for their own business. It’s like a work space rental company but instead of renting out offices, My Salon is renting out salons.

“My Salon Suite is the latest concept in suite rental salons that provide the salon professional the ability to own their own business and make more money,” owner Tim Brose said. “It is the innovative twist on an established industry. My Salon takes the hassle and challenges that traditional salon owners face and provides you with a professional, individual, upscale, private and hassle-free environment that is designed to help increase their clientele and profits.”

Brose said My Salon is ideal for established and fully-licensed salon professionals looking to be more successful. Instead of salon politics and limitations associated with working out of someone else’s salon, a My Salon suite rental allows the renter to be the owner of their business, Brose said.

Brose said one of the more enticing aspects of a suite rental is the ability for renters to set their own hours and prices, and create their own atmosphere.

The idea for the business stems from owners Tim and Lynn Brose’s backgrounds in business management. That’s why the business is so focused on helping other businesses thrive. Brose said that starts the second a renter or client walks into the door.

“Upon entering My Salon Suite, the professional will feel as if they had stepped into an exclusive upscale beauty plaza,” Brose said. “We strive to create a sense of ownership and pride for the professional, so they can focus and give their clients the personal attention they deserve.”

Each suite available for rent features a spacious styling station, complete with a full-length mirror and a separate shampoo station with a tilting ceramic bowl. They’ll also have a separate color station with solid-surface white countertops, sound-insulated walls and a security system. Brose said each suite also comes equipped with cabinetry and a spa bed.

Renters will get access to the building all hours of every day of the week as well as free Wi-Fi and a webpage for their salon. This will give renters the ability to set up online appointment access, too.

While My Salon Suite of Orange Park officially opened last week, it had a soft opening a few months ago. Both Tim and Lynn Brose live locally and hope that their business encourages success for other local hair stylists, aestheticians and spa professionals looking to take control of their business.

“As one of our members [told me], we gave her the best gift...opportunity,” Brose said.
