Donald J. Kinlin
Donald J. Kinlin of Fleming Island, Florida passed away on December 22, 2020, survived by his wife of 61 years, Donna (McGrath) and their children, Karen (Barb) Kinlin, Donald Kinlin II, Joseph (Lisa) Kinlin, Kevin (Pam) Kinlin; nine grandchildren, Brandon Kinlin, Donald Kinlin III, Kelly Kinlin, Ryan Kinlin, Tanner Wilson, Kathleen Kinlin, Sean Kinlin, Jackson Kinlin, and Carter Kinlin; three great-grandchildren, Dale, Kole, and Patrick Kinlin.
Don was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 29, 1938, to the late Joseph Kinlin and Ruth Byrne.
He attended Boston College High School. He began his Air Force career in 1959 retiring 24 years later.
While in the Air Force he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree and M.B.A. from Syracuse University, as well as a law degree from the University of Nebraska School of Law.
After retiring from the Air Force, Don entered private practice and retired as a partner with the Thompson Hine law firm. Don was the Dayton Airshow Chairman for many years and continued to be on the Board until his death. He was also a member of the National Aviation Hall of Fame Board.
Most importantly, Don will always be remembered for his love of his family. Don was the ultimate father and grandfather and loved all things Irish.
There will be a military funeral scheduled later at Dayton National Cemetery in Ohio.

Janie Marie Newton Altizer
Janie Marie Newton Altizer, 82 passed away on December 14, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Nash County, NC and was a Supervisor at the Navy Exchange. She was devoted to her family and loved to have them around her.
Janie is survived by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” R. Altizer; 4 children: Terri (James) Sanchez, Daniel (Jodie) Altizer, Sheila (Ronald) Kirstatter and Judy (Jim) Campbell; grandchildren: Tara (Ryan) Ramsey, Jay Sanchez, Vanessa Fernandez, Sabrina (Anthony) Ayers, Nicole Altizer (Randall Barry) , Lisa Altizer, Shane Altizer, Shauna (Bryan) Wright, John “Trey” (Courtney) Gates, Jenny Gates, Mike Campbell and Billy Campbell; great-grandchildren: Robby Ramsey, Rachel Ramsey, Marlee Sanchez, Maelyn Sanchez, Tanner Fernandez, Judah Ayers, Juliette Ayers, Elijah Barry, Emily Barry, Taylor Barry, Caiden Barry, Weston Wright, Avery Wright, Georgia Wright, Olivia Gates, Jae Gates, Amelia Gates, Dallas Pryor, Stephen Campbell, Matthew Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Noel Campbell, and Mikey Campbell; and a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.

Grace M. Carlisle
Grace M. Carlisle, age 93, of Green Cove Springs, Florida went to meet our heavenly Father on December 25, 2020. Grace was born in Mount Pleasant, Florida on April 6, 1927.
Grace graduated from Clay High School in 1945. Marrying George L. Carlisle in 1944, between her junior and senior year of high school, George and Grace began raising their family in Green Cove Springs.
George was elected as Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller in 1957 Grace worked as his Chief Deputy Clerk and together they served the citizens of Clay County for 32 years. Grace was a member of the First United Methodist Church in GCS. She was also a member of the Green Cove Springs Elks Club, the Florida Sheriff’s Association, the Village Improvement Association, and an honorary member of the Clay County Fair Board.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Lela Martin, husband, George L. Carlisle, son, Gary G. Carlisle, Sr, 9 siblings, brothers Winton Martin, Herbert Martin, William Luther Martin (WL), sisters Clara Chesser, Louise Rosenbush Ritter, Lola Martin, Jewel Wood, Alice McEachin and sibling who died at birth. She is survived by her son Terry J. Carlisle (Brenda), daughter Linda Carlisle Burkhalter (David), both of Green Cove Springs, Florida, grandchildren, Tracie McRae (Jesse), Greg Carlisle, Gary G. Carlisle, Jr. (Carrie), Martin Carlisle, Nikki Rhoden Lamm, Kevin Carlisle (Katie) and Randy Rhoden (Anna), 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
