Edward Peavler
Edward Peavler of Middleburg, passed away on July 30, 2020. He was born on September 20, 1938 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
He was a Vietnam War Veteran who served his country in the US Navy. He had resided in Jacksonville, FL before moving to Clay County in 1975.
After retiring from the US Navy in 1975 he worked for the U.S. Postal Service before retiring in 1998.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Donna Peavler; 2 sons: Lawrence (Kelley) Peavler and Jeffery (Jeanne) Peavler; a daughter, Sharon Dasher; 2 sisters: Irene Hicks and Helen Isham; a brother, J.B. Peavler; 6 grandchildren: Nick, Katie, Laura, Sarah, Trevor and Logan; 3 great-grandchildren: Ryan, Connor and Nathan.
Family received friends on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 9 to 11 AM at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Funeral Home, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL. Funeral services followed at 12:30 PM, Wednesday August 5, 2020 at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL with military honors. Eddie Johns
Eddie Johns, 62, of Middleburg, FL passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020. He was born on April 10, 1958 in Orange Park, FL to the late Dan Johns and Barbara Morgan.
Eddie enjoyed music, fishing, playing guitar with his buddies, and spending time with friends.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Dan Johns and Barbara Morgan, and nephew, Eric Padgett.
Eddie is survived by his daughters, Stacey Johns and Amy Greco; sisters, Rita James and Lisa Boree; brother, Mark Johns; four grandchildren; nieces, Jessica James and Chelsea Boree; nephew, D.J. Boree; great-nephew, K.J. Taylor; and great-niece, Madison Skaff.

Robert Inskeep, III (58) Born in Lima, Ohio, passed July 31st 2020.
He was survived by wife Kay, daughters Salena Kennedy (Shane), Misty Inskeep (Rocky), Robyn, Melissa Kirkland (Kevin) & 2 granddaughters & 3 grandsons, his mother Sandra Garrett (Bill) & 2 sisters.
He was in the Army National Guard from 1980-1992.

David Kalani Meyer
David Kalani Meyer, age 60, of Keystone Heights, FL passed away on July 30, 2020.
Born on April 12, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL, David was destined to make an impact on this world by his extreme talent for cooking, undying servant’s heart and outpouring unconditional love.
David’s life will forever be cherished by his wife of 30 years, Connie Meyer; his mother, Janice Barnes; his brother, Richard Meyer (Susan); his sister, Kim Quezada; his 2 daughters, Lisa Skaff (Charlie) and Melanie Rodriguez (Steve); 10 grandchildren: Sean, Mitchel, Cody, Cameron, Emily (Michael), Victoria, Steven, Cassidy, Miranda, and Skyelar; and 6 great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his father, Donald S. Barnes; and grandparents, Wilson & Marjorie Neville and William & Violet Meyer.
Private funeral services for family members only will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens with Pastor Jim and Rita Pringle of Agape Christian Church officiating. We are following CDC guidelines and only allowing 50 people in the building.
A Reception & Celebration of Life will follow for friends and family wishing to attend from 1:00 until 4:00 PM in The Garden Room at The Club Continental, 2143 Astor St, Orange Park.
Due to COVID-19, please wear a face mask, practice hand washing hygiene, and maintain 6 ft. social distancing. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to Agape Christian Church, 2713 CR 220, Middleburg, FL 32068. We know David is in heaven opening doors, cooking for others and serving God in all His glory. If there is anything that could be taken away from David and the way he touched all of our lives, it was the following verse, “Let all that you do, be done with love.” 1 Corinthians 16:14 NKJV
