Daniel J. Harkins, Jr.
Daniel J. Harkins, Jr., 88, of Fleming Island, FL passed away on November 1, 2020.
Daniel was born on January 18, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Mary and Daniel Harkins. He later moved to Orange Park in 1966.
He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Green Cove Springs. His hobbies include woodworking, gardening, family genealogy, and stamp collecting.
After 23 years of honorable service in the United States Air Force, Daniel retired with his highest rank being senior master sergeant. His duty stations include AK, MN, Vietnam, Iran, and Jacksonville Naval Air Station. Daniel also worked for the United States Postal Service for 22 years. Some of Daniel’s interests include his friends at the Jacksonville Public Library, the Clay County Council of the Blind, Knights of Columbus, and contributing to many organizations.
Above all, Daniel is a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed taking his family on annual family cruises.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Mary, Laura, and Rose; and brother Bill. He is survived by his sons Daniel Harkins III (Jamie) and Larry Harkins; daughters Terri Sparks and Diane Thornton (Paul); 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Jacksonville National Cemetery at a later date.

Dolores Helen Stahl
Dolores Helen Stahl, 87, passed away on November 5, 2020. She was born in Oneida, PA and was a devoted member to St. Luke’s Catholic Church.
Dolores was a dedicated volunteer for the Auxiliary for Orange Park Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Dolores is predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Terrence Stahl.
She is survived by her daughter, Danella Stahl (Stephen) Cogswell; sister, Bernardine Howard; 4 grandchildren: Clayton Cogswell, Riley Cogswell, Lauren (Coby) Seckinger and Andreu (Ashlyn) Cogswell; 3 great-grandchildren: Mallory, Reagan and Olivia.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Friday, November 20, 2020 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Blvd, Middleburg, FL.
Burial will follow at Hardage-Giddens Holly Hill Memorial Park, 3601 Old Jennings Rd, Middleburg, FL. Please post words of comfort at www.hollyhillfunerals.com.

Joan Marie Murray
Joan “gained her wings” at the age of 64, on October 23rd 2020.
Joan was born to her loving parents: John Jenkins Sr. and Irene Jenkins.
Joan was preceded in death by her father, John Jenkins Sr. and survived by her mother,Irene Jenkins; two children: Amy (Moses) Murray and Joshua (Christie)Murray; Two brothers: John (Suzanne)Jenkins Jr. and Jeff Jenkins. Five grandchildren: Bobby Fletcher, Hagen Murray, Alana Pressley, Braden Johnson Murray, Gracie Knowles, and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was a devout Christian and attended many churches in the community. Joan loved spending time outdoors and caring for people. Joan will be greatly missed by many family and friends.
