CLAY COUNTY – Orange Park High graduate John Louis Meeks Jr. became the newest Northeast Florida’s Central Labor Council member last week.
Meeks has been teaching social studies at Mayport Coastal Sciences Middle School in Atlantic Beach since 2002 and has served as his school’s building representative since 2005.
“Solidarity is a way of life,” Meeks said, “and it is our responsibility to put unity in the community.”
