ORANGE PARK – Orange Park Medical Center expanded its Orange Park Surgical Specialists to West Jacksonville. Their new office is located on Argyle Forest Boulevard and will bring comprehensive surgical care including weight loss and oncology surgery, as well as general surgery services to the area.

Orange Park Surgical Specialists provides care from Surgeon Dr. Scott Lind who specializes in General and Oncology Surgery and General and Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Kara Wanchick.

“Helping patients live a healthier and longer life is my passion,” Wanchick said. “I’m really excited to expand into West Jacksonville and provide a closer option for surgical care.”

Orange Park Surgical Specialists is taking extra measures to keep patients safe from COVID-19 including frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces, screening all patients for COVID-19 symptoms, universal masking and encouraging social distancing.

"I treat every patient as if they are family and strive to provide high quality patient centered care to all of my patients," Lind said. “We know patients in this area of Jacksonville are limited on options for quick access to see a surgeon and I look forward to caring for our new neighbors.”

The new location is in addition to their existing Fleming Island office location located on U.S. Highway 17. The new office is located at 9680 Argyle Forest Blvd, Suite 20, Jacksonville.
