Faith walk: Our Great God

Almighty power is complete and absolute power. God is the only almighty power in the Universe. He is omnipotent. He has all power over all things in the Creation.

He is omniscient. He knows everything. He has unlimited understanding and knowledge.

He is omnipresent. He is in all places at all times. The psalmist said, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me; your right hand will hold me fast.” (Psalm 139:7-10 NIV)

He is our great God who is above all His creation. There is no way for us to fully express His power, majesty, supremacy and glory. We just have to look at Him in awe and proclaim the he is a wonderful, glorious God.

Our great God made a choice. He chose to love us. When he covered the nakedness of Adam and Eve in Eden’s Garden, He declared that He will love His created man and woman even in their sin. Everything written about God in His Word is a statement of His love for us. The Cross is the ultimate statement of this fact.

Christianity is different from every other religion in this way. God Himself, not man, offers the sacrifice for man’s sins. And that is a testimony of His love for His children. “But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.” (Eph. 2:4-5 NLT)

The great God of the universe who created galaxies of planets and stars beyond anything yet discovered by man, has chosen to love you. Today stand in that truth.

God loves you!
