From girls basketball, where the Panthers will enter the region playoffs this week, senior Nacoya Blocton will join sister Nia Blocton at Florida Southern College, an NCAA Div. II program currently with a 10-11 season record, with the pair hopefully to wait for junior Narissa to join them in a year.
In flag football, senior tailback Emma Rayes signed to play at NCAA Div. II Lees McRae College in what will be the first season of play at the school.
In volleyball, Madison Roach, who is heading to the Class 2A weightlifting state championships on Friday, got to sign her scholarship to Chattanooga State University in Tennessee. Chattanooga State was 19-10 last year.
Also in volleyball, hitter Katie Cole will play at St. Johns River State College.
In golf, Joseph DeRosa will play next at Webber International University in south Florida.
In cross country, Braidyn Matz will help bolster a strong Florida State College of Jacksonville squad that competed at the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship race last year.
